Get up to £8,000 to help your business cut costs and carbon emissions
You can apply for 2 days of free consultancy and up to £8,000 funding for new equipment or consultancy support that will help your business cut costs and carbon emissions.
The funding can be put towards:
- water, waste and energy saving equipment
- more efficient machinery
- renewable energy installations, including woodfuel
- helping your business adapt to the impacts of climate change
- working with your supply chain to reduce the carbon footprint of your product
- engaging your workforce in reducing environmental impact
Participating businesses can receive an on-site visit from one of our specialist Environmental consultant, to review current activity and identify how you could make savings. A detailed action plan will provide you with information about how to make improvements and the associated cost and business benefits.
Where your business needs additional investment to purchase new equipment or consultancy support that will help you make cost and carbon savings, you can apply for up to 50% of the costs (max of £8,000) from CO2Sense.
Your business can save up to £200 per employee, up to 20% off electricity bills and 50% off water bills simply by changing the way you use resources such as water, raw materials and electricity. And now your business can earn payments by generating clean electricity or heat through the Feed in Tariff or the Renewable Heat Incentive from installing renewable energy.
There has never been a better time to make your business more efficient and cut your carbon emissions.
