Big Lottery Fund
Distributes grants from the national “Lotto” game to voluntary & community organisations for good causes. They fund large and small projects across health, education, environment, social and regeneration impacts that revitalise communities.

Business Link South Yorkshire (BLSY)
BLSY are a major funder towards social enterprise provision in South Yorkshire. They offer existing and new businesses advice and support ranging from start-up to ongoing development. This also covers private sector businesses.

An organisation that sets, develops and manages the quality assurance framework for providers of business support services. Social Enterprise Barnsley meets these exacting standards and is reassessed every year on its performance.

Doncaster Council for Voluntary Services (CVS)
Supports, promotes and develops local voluntary and community action, through a range of services and by acting as a voice for the local sector. Doncaster CVS manages a support unit to assist community enterprises across the borough.

North Barnsley Partnership
Established to help regenerate the economies of several communities across the north of the Barnsley Borough, through helping local groups, instigating business/ economic activities and co-ordinating local action plans with appropriate investments.

Phoenix Enterprises
A social enterprise created to reduce unemployment and challenge social exclusion across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, South West and Rotherham. Has developed innovative 'back to work' programmes and manages the social enterprise support unit in Rotherham.
