STAINCROSS COMMUNITY CHURCH HALL RECEIVES FACELIFT


Staincross Community Church Hall at Staincross in Barnsley, have just received a facelift thanks to a grant of £10,000, received from the Single Regeneration Budget.

The grant has been awarded for improving the toilet provisions at the Community Hall so as to enhance bookings for special occasions. Reverend Jim Butterworth said, “This is part of an ongoing programme of improvements at the hall, the newly formed committee would like to thank the team at Social Enterprise Barnsley and the SRB team for the grant to start the works.”


Andy Arnold from the Social Enterprise Barnsley Team at Barnsley Development Agency added, “The group have formed a not for private gain enterprise to retain this much needed resource available to the public, local people can now book the hall for many occasions such as weddings, birthdays and christenings."
