RECRUITMENT UNDERWAY FOR 70 NEW STAFF AT FRESH-PAK


Recruitment has just started at Fresh-Pak’s new £7.5 million plant at Waterside Park in Wombwell, Barnsley for 70 food production operatives, team leaders and supervisors working over a flexible two-shift work pattern.

Simon Scrivens, divisional managing director of Perkins Fresh Foods adds;
“We are looking forward to becoming operational in mid November, and are currently recruiting for 70 staff, we offer competitive rates of pay, training, a range of benefits (including pension) and excellent working conditions.

The plant will be part of Fresh-Pak Chilled Foods Ltd, a subsidiary company of Perkins Foods Holdings Ltd, and will initially produce egg-based products. Work has just started on upgrading the 68,000 sq. ft facility, which will include the latest, state of the art manufacturing technology.
