LITTLE FISHES CHILDCARE OPENS IN WOMBWELL


Little Fishes Childcare Centre in Wombwell has recently opened its doors, to meet the growing demand for childcare in the area.



The Ofstead inspected centre at Hough Lane Wesleyan Reform Church, in Wombwell offers free places for up to 24 children aged 3 to 5 years of age and is assisted by funding from Social Enterprise Barnsley, part of the Barnsley Development Agency.

The centre offers morning sessions from 9am to 11.30am, a lunch club from 11.30am to 12.55pm and an afternoon session from 12.55pm to 3.25pm. A toddler group for 0 to 3 year olds also runs on Thursdays from 9.30am to 11.15am. Centre Manager, Lesley Sullivan adds, “We are pleased that all the hard work done in preparing the building extension is now completed and we are open for business. We still have some places available and would love to see more local children at the centre.”

In addition to the Centre Manager there will be 3 other staff at the centre. All the team are committed to providing the very best in care and early years learning experiences for the children, with a wide variety of educational toys and play areas included in the newly extended and decorated building.
