JobReady engage and support employers throughout Barnsley in providing work opportunities to unemployed individuals who are currently claiming benefits but want to return to work.

We have a number of unemployed, job ready individuals who are actively seeking work.  These individuals have work experience, training and qualifications, and skills across all industry sectors.

Our Employer Engagement Officers are working with local employers, like you, to raise awareness of the help and support available.

Employers can count on JobReady to offer them:

• Instant access to job ready individuals thereby reducing recruitment costs;
• Easy and free online registration of job vacancies;
• Information on how to access funding such as wage subsidies and training grants ;
• 26 weeks of support after the start of employment from a personal Employer Engagement Officer.

All we ask you to do is to register your job vacancies with us and consider applications from our ‘job ready' individuals. With your involvement we can help to make this happen!
