Within 60 minutes of Barnsley there are five international airports including the UK's newest international airport - Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield. Flying to over 45 destinations the Airport is set to carry 2.3 million passengers and 50,000 tonnes of freight a year within a decade.

The airport features a two mile long runway, making it one of only a handful in the UK capable of hosting long haul and freight plane services. It's development is a major boost to business and leisure travellers in the surrounding regions.
