A Barnsley Business Training Grant is funding for Inward Investing and existing large companies requiring bespoke training or seeking to upskill existing employees. Also to support companies in the recruitment and initial employment training period of new employees.

There is up to a maximum of 50% of proposed project costs available for any qualifying organisation up to £5,000.

Organisations are required to use training providers who meet nationally recognised accredited standards and are also required to carry out a detailed training plan for each employee taking part as agreed with a nominated advisor.

Organisations should note funding will only be approved where training /upskilling would assist in the support of company sustainability or employee enhancement and will be payable in arrears on verified completion of training.
