Barnsley based plant hire company E.J. Lidster are to further expand their operations with the construction of a high quality 19,000 sq. ft. industrial unit in Monk Bretton, Barnsley. New units on Burton Road Business Park Located in close proximity to Barnsley town centre and approximately 5 miles from the M1, junction 37, the new development on Burton Road Business Park consists of 14 small industrial units, four of which are still remaining. One unit of 2000 sq. ft and three units of 1000 sq. ft. are available for taking on a short leasehold basis. Each unit includes roller shutter door access and three phase electrics, with gas available on site if required. In addition, the business park has an existing 8,000 sq. ft. industrial unit currently available on a leasehold basis. The next phase of development will see the construction of a 4,000 sq. ft. industrial unit that will be divided into four 1,000 sq. ft. units. This will start on site in Spring 06 with an estimated completion in Autumn 06. Such developments will lead to the welcome creation of further jobs in the borough, demonstrating the company’s huge commitment to the ongoing improvement of the local area.
