Successful Barnsley firm Countrywide Healthcare Supplies is safeguarding local jobs by relocating to a new purpose-built facility at Park Springs, Grimethorpe. Construction of the new 60,000 sq.ft. warehouse and office unit is now underway on the three acre site, with an estimated completion of September 2006. Established ten years ago in the South Yorkshire area, Countrywide Healthcare Supplies currently employs 57 staff. The company is one of the largest independent suppliers to care homes, local authorities, hospitals and NHS in the UK, providing a wide range of over 5000 product lines – including furniture, equipment and consumables.
