Barnsley based PDS Consulting have received worldwide interest in their recently launched E-learning training courses, thanks to the help of an Objective 1 Business Development Grant.
Partner of PDS Consulting, Carol Swift at their stand at ‘FESPA 2005’ in Munich PDS Consulting provide specialist consultancy, training and qualifications to the screen and pad printing industry. They have been providing their services to the printing industry for the last 15 years and are recognised as one of the world’s top print consultancy’s, with clients including Timex (Philippines), Harley Davidson (USA) and Cussons (Nigeria). For many years PDS Consulting have recognised that due to the cost, their services were generally only available to larger companies, even though many smaller companies recognise the benefits of training their staff. The obvious solution for them was to look at E-Learning, which is when they applied to Barnsley Development Agency (BDA) for an Objective 1 Business Development Grant to help fund a feasibility study. Carol Swift, Partner of PDS Consulting comments, “The outcome of the feasibility study was amazing, the industry was very enthusiastic and supportive of having on-line courses available to smaller companies and individuals which are both cost effective and accessible.” After writing all the courses PDS Consulting received further support from the BDA to help them obtain financial assistance to exhibit at ‘FESPA 2005’, the largest global event for screen, digital and industrial printing. The event took place in June in Munich, Peter Kiddell, Partner of PDS Consulting adds, ”The exhibition was a huge success and has generated interest from companies and individuals worldwide. We are also negotiating with companies in India and Eastern Europe to translate the courses into other languages.” For further information on the course please visit www.worldofprint.co.uk. |
