The new site is due to open in Spring 2005 and will be located alongside Stiller Osbourne, a large distribution company.

The family owned company has been established since 1988 and offer a high quality production service in both the food and non-food sector in terms of flexibility, reliability and efficiency. The new Darton site will house the professional packaging of cleaning utensils among other products.

CJ Morton & Co Ltd employs over 120 staff, and offers good working conditions and family friendly policies, which will transfer to MCM Services. Barnsley Development Agency (BDA) is currently assisting the company on their move to the area. BDA’s Economic Development Manager Jeff Pickering said, “We are delighted that CJ Morton & Co Ltd have chosen to set up their new company in Barnsley and look forward to the factory opening and creating jobs in the area.”
