Established in 1988, Thornhill Service UK has grown to be a global player and gained an enviable reputation for manufacturing the highest quality gaskets in the world. Thornhill pride themselves on their quality products and services, this includes a 24 hour, 7 days a week service provision and in-house design and full manufacturing facilities to produce gaskets of any size and for any type, make and model of plate heat exchanger, all manufactured to OEM specification.

Thornhill currently employ 75 staff and are committed to continually investing in employee development to produce a highly skilled workforce well prepared to produce a quality end product and deliver an outstanding service to all their customers. This £2million investment to relocate the company will give Thornhill the opportunity to expand their workforce and create a number of new job opportunities in the local area.

Barnsley Development Agency (BDA) has supported Thornhill in their relocation plans through the provision of assistance in the planning process and in forging relationships between Thornhill, BMBC and Yorkshire Forward.
