H & M PUT ON A GOOD DISPLAY IN BARNSLEY
H & M Display Ltd, manufacturers and suppliers of point of sale accessories and merchandising display aids to both the retail and commercial markets throughout the UK, has relocated to Unit 16 of Wharncliffe Business Park at Carlton, Barnsley.

H & M Display Ltd supply an impressive number of High Street retail names including Tesco, Morrisons, New Look, DFS and Wilkinsons with a vast array of point of sale display and advertising materials. These enhance product displays and lead to a more effective execution of a company’s marketing campaign. H & M Display also supply many intermediary print and point of sale companies for their onward sale, both in this country and around the world.

The company fabricate wirework components at premises in Halifax using locally resourced raw materials wherever possible. Many of the products also use polycarbonate as a raw material, providing a durable and hard- wearing end product. The plastic injection moulding components are largely made and brought in from outside the UK. This ensures costs are kept to a minimum and allows such cost savings to be passed onto the customer.

H & M Display Ltd is continually investing in innovative new product ideas to satisfy their client requirements. For example, the company is currently working on designing a telescopic sign for use in garden centres that can be extended as plant life grows to ensure its continued visibility.

The new premises at Barnsley provide an ideal location from which to distribute their products and directly supply their customers. As part of this process, H & M Display Ltd make valuable use of the Prison Service in Wakefield who provide a packing service to meet their clients exact requirements.

Managed by property agents Whittle Jones, the units at Wharncliffe offer a secure central location, situated close to the well-established Carlton Industrial Estate, just 4 miles north of Barnsley town centre. The area also benefits from an excellent main road and motorway network, enhanced by the Dearne Town A1-M1 Link Road.

Phillip Makepeace, Managing Director of H & M Display Ltd, commented, “We have been very impressed with the service provided by the BDA and the professionalism of the people we have been involved with at all stages throughout our relocation.”

Barnsley Development Agency assisted H & M Display Ltd in their premise search and helped to find the suitable location. Business Development Officer, Derrick Beedham, said, “We welcome H & M Display Ltd to the Borough and wish them well in their new premises. We look forward to offering the company our continued support in the future.”
