PREMIER INN DELIVERS JOBS TO BARNSLEY
In preparation for the launch of Barnsley town centre’s first purpose-built budget hotel, leading UK hospitality group Whitbread PLC has begun a recruitment drive for their 110 bed Premier Inn and Table Table restaurant which are set to open this Spring at the town’s Gateway Plaza development.
Over 50 new jobs will be created at Premier Inn’s Gateway Plaza hotel and restaurant and will include a variety of roles such as restaurant, housekeeping, reception and management staff, giving an employment boost to the town. Premier Inn has teamed up with Jobcentre Plus in Barnsley to promote the available positions which will be both full-time and part-time, with shift work available including flexibility to suit people with childcare responsibilities or those who have been out of work for some time. Whitbread PLC is the UK's largest hotel and restaurant group and as such employs over 27,000 people.
